The products can be manufactured with lightweighted, highly functional and cost reduction by changing a part of materials. For example, in a heat exchanger, cooper or cooper alloy with high thermal conductivity and stainless steel which has corrosion resistance and high strength are joined together.
This time we tried to weld dissimilar materials of pure cooper(C1020-1/2H) and stainless steel (SUS304) by EBW (Electric beam welding). We struggled to weld pure cooper and stainless steel because they have different melting point and thermal conductivity, but we challenged for many times and established the method of welding.
We will continue to improve our technical ability of welding as we try various types of materials.
If you have some problems about such as dissimilar metal welding or thin-walled butt welding, please feel free to contact us.
